Starting from 2008, HKWW prepares TC reviews for selected significant tropical cyclones, i.e. those affecting Hong Kong (necessitating the issuance of TC signals) and those attaining category 5 in NHC standard (i.e. 1-min average wind speed higher than 135 knots).

本站由 2008 年開始為重要的熱帶氣旋作出回顧，即曾影響香港並令天文台發出熱帶氣旋警告信號及 / 或曾達到五級超級颱風強度的熱帶氣旋。2009 年或以後的回顧備有中英對照。
請於下表選擇欲回顧的熱帶氣旋 (滑鼠移經 "IMAGE" 字樣可見該熱帶氣旋的模樣)。
Notes 備註:
- The intensities using 1-minute average in the above table come from Hong Kong Weather Watch's track data. They are adjusted to 10-minute average and will be compared with data from HKO to derive the intensity at closest approach using 10-minute average standard. 一分鐘平均風速數據由本站路徑資料擷取，它們會被轉換為十分鐘平均風速並和香港天文台的資料作比對，從而得出最接近香港時的熱帶氣旋強度 (十分鐘平均)。
- JTWC intensities and minimum pressures specified in each TC review are not adjusted after best track data are released. 每一篇回顧中之聯合颱風警報中心 (JTWC) 所定最高風速和最低氣壓將不會於最佳路徑資料發放時修改。
- "CPA" is the abbreviation of "Closest Point of Approach (to the Observatory)". This distance follows final HKO report; if final HKO report does not mention the minimum distance, the CPA in HKO's tropical cyclone bulletins will be used instead. "最接近香港距離" 依據天文台的熱帶氣旋報告所示距離。如該報告沒有提及，我們將使用實時熱帶氣旋報告中提及過的距離代替之。
